Dear DogAge,
My baby's name is Kimba. She is a very good dog. I fell in the bathtub the other day; thank God I did not get hurt seriously. Kimba was very worried about me. She followed me around all day just to make sure I was OK. I had to keep reassuring her that I was fine. DogAge has helped me to understand my dog’s needs. I learn new things all the time.

Dear DogAge,
My dog PK is a 13-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier. He has been a faithful friend and has been nominated for AKC service dog of the year three times. He speaks two languages -- English when he is not on duty, French when he is on duty. He may be getting old, but he still loves the occasional walk outside with me by his side in my wheelchair.

I love him to bits.

Dear DogAge,
Sprint has become a part of the family, and we have enjoyed him so much. Although he is small, he is not scared of anything, not even other dogs. I really enjoy the DogAge Web site. I have learned a lot of things to do with our dog. Your tips have been helpful in keeping Sprint and me in shape. Thanks for everything!

Dear DogAge,
When I lost a few people close to me in the space of a year, the angels sent me my little soft-hearted staffie. Every day is filled with laughter because of her clownish antics. She is my best friend and my running partner. DogAge showed me that she doesn’t need my comfort food, and she slowly but steadily lost her "puppy fat."

Dear DogAge,
Tyrone is my best friend. He is a dachshund and shih tzu mix, 4 years old -- about 19, according to the DogAge Test. He trains at least weekly for agility trials. Thus, your health tips are greatly appreciated. Tyrone has earned one leg so far, and he loves the sport. Thank you for helping us both keep fit.

Dear DogAge,
Zoe, my 7-year-old Boston terrier, loves to eat. If there's food on the table, floor, or counter, she'll find it. With DogAge, I realized that the extra weight she was carrying could jeopardize her health. We started taking daily walks to burn calories, and now she can't live without them! Rain or shine, hot or cold, Zoe is ready to go. She has slimmed down and, while she still loves to eat, she is in fabulous shape!

Dear DogAge,
My Randolph is the most wonderful dog! I love him like a child and refer to him as my "son." I always read your DogAge tips, and Randolph responds in his usual positive way to any DogAge suggestions I use. We now walk 30–40 minutes a day. Randolph has arthritis, so I was fearful that he wouldn’t want regular walks. However, he loves the walks, and they have benefited both of us greatly. Thanks, DogAge!

Dear DogAge,
I just love the weekly DogAge tips. No matter what the tip is, it usually covers at least one of my three Chihuahuas. ChiChi (13 years) recently passed away. DogAge had great tips on caring for older dogs. CJ is 4 years old. Tips on weight control and doggie exercises have helped get CJ into shape. Bella is 4 months old and as sassy as they come. DogAge has great tips on caring for a puppy. Thanks DogAge.

Dear DogAge,
I just adopted Dan, a beautiful Treeing Walker Coonhound; he’s approximately 15 months old. Although he received a clean bill of health from the SPCA, my vet examined him and found severe dysplasia in his left hip.

Surgery will be necessary, but the vet suggested waiting. He wants Dan to be a puppy without the trauma of invasive surgery. Dan is an amazing dog, and I am glad I adopted him into our family.

Dear DogAge,
My girl Karma is the sweetest, most loving dog. We adopted her about 2 years ago from a Great Dane rescue. Karma loves her long walks each morning, and when she’s ready to go, she lets me know it’s time and I’d better move! Even though she weighs about 115 pounds, we call her our pocket poodle because she doesn’t realize her size. She is the light of our lives, and there is never a dull moment!

Dear DogAge,
My dog Scooter is basically healthy but had put on a few extra pounds. He also had dry skin that was causing him to scratch like crazy. After reading your great tips, I was determined to get Scooter out walking every day (which is good for me, too) and I changed his diet a bit. I’m happy to say Scooter’s skin has cleared up, and we are both in better shape, thanks to DogAge.

Dear DogAge,
Our Schipperke/Chihuahua mix Viggo is truly our best friend. Because of DogAge, Viggo is living a much happier, healthy life, and so am I! I know our daily walks have helped us both shed a few unwanted pounds. He has a big dog mentality and loves to chase the "big guys" around the dog park, but his favorite pastime is definitely sleeping!
